The 'Raven' Class Combat Frigate is the most commonly used avian capital ship. Equipped with a well-balanced range of weaponry and a reasonable cruising speed, the Raven is well suited to virtually any combat situation. The torpedo rack on the port side provides an extra punch against larger vessels, while the gauss cannons on the bottom are fairly effective at supressing ships of a similar size. It has enough light guns to keep itself fairly safe from fighters, and is regarded as the main workhorse of most avian fleets.
